I don’t think they say you should allow it to sit for 2 hours, but for a few hours. I do it for 24 to MAKE SURE the air has risen to the top from the mixing process. It also depends on how thick the mixture is as to how long you would have to let it sit….I am just overly cautious, probably.

I stopped into the gallery in the woods art gallery. And there on the wall were 8 of those indented canvases you showed us. The artist used them each time for little assemblages in the indeted part. She left the exterior canvas white as if it were a mat. Her assemblages were exquisit and I guess doing them in a canvas like that gives them a sort of "authority."
