Welcome to My New Blog Home!
- I spent an entire afternoon here!
Come into my back yard today. I bet you didn’t think a new blog format would be a part of my changes, but I wanted to provide a place where I could share information and you could find it easier. With this blog, I can create other pages where like profiles are pulled together. So grab a cup of tea and let’s talk about this a little. Don’t worry, the little fawn is nestled there for a while, her mother knew we would keep a watchful eye on her, and she is really too frightened to move. She has not learned the ways of the world yet, since she is only a day old. On the other hand, most of us have been around the block a few times.
So things are not completely pulled together here, but I want to share with you some of my ideas. I will be posting like this once or twice a week, but in the meantime, I will be adding content to additional pages. If you look at the column on the left you will see a Pages listing. Here I will be creating some, hopefully, informative pages about other artists, art materials, books I am reading or maybe even want to read, travel, photography, writing/journaling, doodling/sketching, etc. These will be areas which inspire me and encourage my creativity. I hope you will find them helpful and interesting.
Since this blog is connected directly to my web site, I will not be posting any of my completed paintings here. You are always welcome to bring up the subject of any particular painting or series for discussion. I am also very open to talking about particular topics here, so feel free to email me or send me an email. I am always eager to hear from you.
As I get used to this new format and learn how to better manipulate it, I will be adding information and letting you know via these weekly or bi-weekly posts. In the meantime, I hope you have a very large mug of tea so you can enjoy it while you see what I have already put in place here. Of course, for you long time readers of my Creating Space blog, you can find all of the posts with comments here and you can also return to that blog to read them.
Welcome to my new blog home! I am grateful for your company.

Kim, Wow, This looks wonderful, I’m looking forward to read your musings here and love the subjects in the sidebar…very inspiring. Now that I saw your new blog, I can go to bed and sleep well:) Have a great day, love, Andrea
Kim, this looks like it might be using WordPress software. Several months ago I was having a horrendous time with Blogger and started a WordPress blog. I never completed it and never opened it to people. In the meantime my Blogger technical issues were resolved, but it’s always in the back of my mind–maybe complete that WordPress blog. It does provide more elegant options and more flexibility.
I love what you’re doing here!
Andrea, thanks so much. This just feels so right to me at the moment. I am truly thrilled with the pages, too. I like it when things are not so linear!
San, you are right. I was having the same problems with Blogger. You should complete your WP blog, it is a lot easier than I ever thought it would be. With just a few minor glitches, the transfer process was a snap.
I am so glad you both like what you see here.
Thank You!
Hi Kim. this is impressive. so to get your posts automatically I should put your web address in? Have fun with your new blog.
HI Kim,
This looks like fun. Is your other blog not going to be added to anymore? I am confused. but then I am easily confused. LOL
Nice new digs. I like how it’s organized. The fawn is adorable. Thanks for inviting me over.
Happy new blog…and the fawn is precious.
Hi Kim,
This looks good – I don’t know how you managed to do so much with your blog before. I hardly seem to find time in the day to write an email…:o).
I love, love, love the fawn – were you really that close? A beautiful photo!
Arohanui,
Les.

Suki…yes, please put the new address in you list.
Cris…I will only be posting messages there about this blog, but will keep the account.
Chewy…thanks, of course you get an invite! Glad you like the fawn.
Lynn…thank you. I am trying to get around to everyone again. Isn’t she sweet?
Les…ah, thank you! You know I am not sure how I managed, either. This will save me time. I suppose we were as close as a meter from her. She really did stay all afternoon.
Thanks Everyone!
Ohh, I took the leap, trusted in you, and found such a wonderful and creative surprise. Great idea, and from the looks of it you have a pretty good start on things. I’ve already added the site to my list so I can see right away when you post something new.

Oh lovely– funny we are thinking of a change of venue at the same time! one of my summer goals is to somehow integrate blogging with a website. Be prepared to have me pick your brain about what is working for you! This new site looks great and I love the potentials for interaction! namaste Elis.
Thank you all so much. I am still working out the kinks, so let me know if you find any! As you can see, I have done some increasing in the size of the font with the exception of the comments. I will work on how to accomplish this, too.
