good to hear from you Kim and what a wonderful painting, the sort of ghostly yellow forms coming through the hard blue, as if something is getting born out of the blue, some nebulous yoke.

Hello Dianne, it is wonderful to hear from you. I am glad you like what you see in this piece. It is heavily textured and I will show it to you soon. Thank you for the kind words about getting over the flu. I am doing well, although these things like to hang on with me because of my asthma, but I am doing well.

You know, I wonder if you would ever get used to a hot or warm Christmas, if you are originally a Northern Hemisphere person? I have a friend in New Zealand who can't imagine a cold Christmas, of course she has only known warm ones! I think I am like you, I would not be able to get used to that!

Thank you so much for stopping by, my friend! It is truly wonderful to hear from you!

Peace!

Hi Kim, glad you see you are painting, amongst all the life things that come along. This painting is very powerful and I love the visual texture. I hope you have got over your flu and are feeling much better. Things are hotting up here in South Africa, it is still strange to have a hot and sunny Christmas! Love Dianne x

Thank you, Andrea! This is one piece I struggle with, however it is progressing. It is forceful, and I am glad you like it. I think the force comes in because I tend to want to allow things to unfold rather than force them and this one was having none of that! :-)

Slowing down and allowing the possibilities to flow is what I am all about right now. There are so many things which play into this work and it is important for me to remember all the things I do ultimately have an influence on the outcomes. Thank you so much for this beautiful reminder! You always have wise words for me.

Peace, my friend!

Kim, this painting is wonderful, it looks, I don't know, raging, rolling along with mighty force, it looks great! I'm looking forward to you next posts, and just wanted to say that this time of the year is always good for slowing down and being thoughtful. Here in Paris it was so grey today and dark, we need light :), your paintings is light!
Have a good day, love, Andrea
