Artists

On these pages I will be talking about artists who influence me in some way.  They may be historical figures or living, working artists.  Before moving to this blog, I did a series of “Conversations” with some amazing artists.  I find them all an inspiration and do not want these popular talks lost, so I am going to list them here with links.  I hope you continue to find inspiration in these wonderful people.  Here are the links:

Andrea de Palacio

Barbara Wilson

Dianne McNaughton

Fiona Long *

Julianne Richards

Lesley McIver*

Lynette Clay

Sukipoet*

I am eager to hear about the artists who inspire you, too!

*for some reason June and July did not translate from my earlier blog, so I am having to link back to the origional blog on these.  In due time, I will get this figured out.

kim thanks for mention ing me here. I dont feel much like an artist at the current moment. do you know the blog of leslie avon miller? She also talks about artistic process and is also an abstract artist as you are. I think her blog is titled with her name but I’ll check to verify that. with your new URL I cant link to it via the blogger roll thing, so will try to remember to bookmark it.

Suki, thank you so much for the heads up on Leslie’s blog! I know I will enjoy it a lot.

You know, I think being an artist means being connected with the things which are in front of you at the moment. You never know what you will create as a result of what you deal with day to day! No matter what is going on with you now, you will/have been find the time to let the creative side of it come out later.

    Thanks Suki!
