Meditation
My meditation practice is truly one I have made my own. I do very well with guided meditations and have even created one I often use before I paint. I found when I began to practice yoga, a meditation practice soon followed. I have tried a lot of different techniques which I have come to pull bits and pieces from to make my practice my own. At this time, I utilize a sitting practice along with the guided practice. Being able to go into the core of myself additionally allows me to know what is right for me. Understand, this is right for me and helps me access that part of myself which is not always visible allowing me to make it visible in my own art. I will share with you some of the different kinds of meditation I have explored and hope to hear about your practices. I believe we all know what is right for us as individuals and meditation helps us to access that knowledge then take the responsibility to act on that information.
