The Windmill Easel

I have always wanted to have this easel.  It does not come inexpensively, but I think it would be so very useful.  ASW has it for the best price I have seen in the US, however if you find it for less, do let me know.  This can be purchased in several different configurations, and you can even purchase components to attach it to the wall (as shown here), as a stand alone easel, you can attach it to a table top or even to a tree trunk!  It is available in two sizes…so go ahead and make your choice.  If you buy one or if you think it would be a positive choice, please let me know!

Kim, I’m taking an “in-depth” tour of your blog and just discovered this great post:) I didn’t know that this exists, and feel that I have to keep this in my “future art furniture” drawer in my brain:) , while I don’t know where to put it, but there’s a time for everything…

This would be so very helpful for my big watercolor paintings, wow! Thanks so much for this information…
    love

Isn’t this just the best easel, Andrea? I first saw it on a bbc show when we lived in England called, “Art School”. For 2 years I was on a mission to find this thing. I even wrote Chelsea College of Art to ask about it, but never heard a word in return. Then one day, there it was.

Do keep it in your brain file. It comes in two sizes and can be retrofitted to just about anything…You can even fit it to a table top in flat format, so that would be perfect for watercolors, I think.

I am glad you liked this.

    Love,

    Kim
